Loop & Maze sells hand-made art by Sarah Dueth. Paintings:

“After standing in front of “Uluru” in Australia, I came home trying to learn more about color through abstraction. Later, I found myself lacking of a theme in my paintings and began to paint stories …the “Girls Series” emerged. I began a journey that would take me through decades of images that were magical and mythical, beautiful yet haunting, and full of courage and healing, all at the same time. These images could tell a multitude of stories, I could give these “children” voices that had once been silenced. They evoked control, superhuman strength… hybrid strength. After more than a decade of painting these children, I again revisited abstraction, and again go back and forth.

Ceramics:

Sarah Dueth was introduced to ceramics in high school, and later studied the art at Boston University. She worked in a ceramics studio during her early years in NYC, and later moved to Nevada, and began her own small studio on the outskirts of Las Vegas.

She has worked with illustrious artists in her career – she was Steve Weiss's colorist and also a colorist and assistant to the ceramicist, Christopher Spitzmiller.  She partnered with Celine Cannon as a specialist in color creation,  contributing to fashion and design houses creating color swatches for original works.
